The TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline Project consists of a high-pressure pipeline and related structures that will deliver 31 billion m³ of natural gas per year from Azerbaijan to Turkey and Europe over a 50-year period.

The pipeline is approximately 1850 km long, starting from the Georgian-Turkish border to the Turkish-Greek border.

Onshore pipeline diameter: 56″ (1340 km) and 48″ (460 km) respectively

Offshore pipeline diameter: 2 x 36″ (17.7 km)

Maximum operating pressure (MAOP): 100 bar

Station facilities:

Compressor Station: 7 units.

Block Valve Station: 49 units

Pig Station 11 units

2 Gas Receiving Branch Stations near Eskisehir and in Thrace: including metering and pressure reduction facilities.

4 Commercial Metering Stations at the borders of Georgia and Greece and at the Branch Stations in Turkey.
